Yes — if your theme is built properly. Cards & Sections works with any block theme that follows WordPress standards and uses theme.json correctly. It reads your colors, spacing, and typography automatically.

Themes we’ve tested and work well: Blockbase, Frost, Ollie, Tove, Twenty Twenty-Five, Twenty Twenty-Four, and Twenty Twenty-Three.

That said, some themes have heavy CSS overrides that bleed into other blocks. If you’re seeing unexpected styling, check your theme first.

No. Everything is controlled in the block editor. Layouts, media, animations — all point and click.

Videos are heavy — there’s no way around that. Lazy loading helps by preventing everything from loading at once. Background videos only load when they come into view, and hover videos only load on interaction. We recommend keeping videos short (under 10 seconds) and optimized. It won’t make videos weightless, but it keeps your initial page load fast.
