Groundworx Core is a comprehensive block library for WordPress with 29 custom blocks and 12 extensions—all designed to work seamlessly with your theme.

Installation

  1. Download the Groundworx Core plugin .zip file from your account
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Select the .zip file and click Install Now
  4. Once installed, click Activate

License Activation

  1. Go to Settings → Groundworx
  2. Enter your license key from your purchase confirmation email
  3. Click Activate License
  4. You’ll see a confirmation message when activated

An active license provides automatic updates and support for bugs or issues. Support does not include custom development or code customization.

Content Organization

Accordion – Collapsible content sections with toggle (multiple open) or radio (one at a time) modes

Accordion Panel – Individual accordion item. Add any content—text, images, buttons, or custom blocks

Tabs – Tabbed content with responsive breakpoint fallback—automatically converts to accordion on set breakpoint

Tabs Panel – Single tab content area. Add any WordPress blocks to build rich tabbed experiences

Curtain Raiser – Full-screen animated background hero with content overlay and smooth scroll effects

Media Section – Full-screen image hero with minimal content overlay. Scroll-triggered animations and padding effects

Media Content Split – Split-screen layout with media on one side, content on the other. Perfect for features and services

Card – Flexible card component for services, products, team members, or any structured content

Card Reveal – Interactive card with hover reveal effect. Show more content on hover or click

Filtering System

Filters – Container for building dynamic post filtering interfaces, supports auto submit

Filter Active – Displays currently active filter selections with remove option

Filter Terms – Taxonomy term selector for filtering posts by category, tag, or custom taxonomy

Filter Text – Text/search input for filtering posts titles and content by keyword

Filter Submit – Submit button for filter queries

Filter Order By – Sort control for queries. Order by date, title, menu order, or custom fields

Dynamic Flow – Query-powered carousel. Display posts, products, or custom post types as responsive slides

Static Flow – Manual carousel with full control. Add any blocks to each slide

Your First Block: Accordion or Card

Let’s add a block to see Groundworx in action:

  1. Create a new page or edit an existing one
  2. Click the + button to add a block
  3. Search for “Accordion” or “Card”
  4. Insert the block into your page

You’ll see the block appear with default styling. Use the block settings in the sidebar to customize it—colors, spacing, typography, and more.
