Groundworx exists because I believe WordPress can empower everyone to build better websites—when we give them the right tools.

I’m Johanne Courtright, and I’ve spent over 20 years building with WordPress—from enterprise projects to small businesses, from agency work to personal sites. Through all of it, I’ve learned that the best tools don’t fight against the platform. They work with it, amplifying what makes WordPress powerful while staying accessible to everyone.

My philosophy: blocks should feel native to WordPress, like they’ve always belonged there. Code should be clean and maintainable so your site can grow without becoming a burden. Features should be intentional, solving real problems rather than just looking impressive in demos.

Groundworx Core was built from that belief. Every block uses WordPress core components. Every feature respects how the platform actually works. Every decision prioritizes long-term sustainability over short-term shortcuts.

This is a one-person operation, which means I’m building with intention, not investor demands. Whether you’re running a business, managing client sites, or building something personal—these tools are designed to help you do your best work without needing to be a technical expert.
