Artisan Design Concepts

A Website That Matches the Vision and Builds a Sustainable Presence

Artisan Design Concepts Website

Staci and Travis run Artisan Design Concepts in the Coachella Valley, creating custom epoxy surfaces for homes and businesses. Their work spans countertops, garage floors, wall features, and more—paired with handyman services that support their local community. Beyond the job site, Staci is an active YouTuber and Facebook creator, where she shares tutorials, behind-the-scenes videos, and speaks as a Savage Patriot Polymers spokesperson. With a strong social following, they had the audience—but their website wasn’t keeping pace.

Strategic and Technical Challenges

Delivering growth meant addressing more than just design:

  • Attracting the right leads: Their site pulled heavy traffic, but from the wrong topics—Coachella events and city lifestyle content—leaving them with calls that never converted.
  • Unfocused content: Buried videos: Dozens of valuable YouTube videos were hidden on a single page, with no blog or structure to help them drive search or engagement.
  • Invisible to search engines: Large portions of text were actually images, with no headings, no alt tags, and no semantic structure—leaving content unreadable to search engines and inaccessible to users.
  • Disconnected marketing efforts: Disconnected marketing: Staci excelled at video and social engagement, but her strong presence wasn’t connected to a long-term strategy that could boost SEO and funnel audiences back to the site.
  • Editing bottlenecks: The Divi build made updates painful, limiting how quickly she could expand or improve her content.
  • No roadmap for growth: Without clear strategy on SEO, content, and analytics, Artisan Design Concepts lacked the foundation for sustainable visibility.

Building a Foundation for Growth

Fixing the site wasn’t just about design—it was about creating a marketing engine that connected Staci’s strong social presence with a clear strategy for growth. The first step was to reorganize the site around epoxy countertops, floors, and handyman work, with dedicated pages for photos, FAQs, and calls to action. Visitors could finally see, at a glance, exactly what Artisan Design Concepts offered.

Editing experience that looks like the live page while you edit

Our custom Tabs block powers an interactive FAQ that looks and behaves like the live site while you edit. Content can be reordered, added, or removed in seconds, with built-in accessibility and keyboard navigation. The result: less friction for the client and clearer answers for visitors.

Their YouTube videos were transformed into individual posts, each optimized with titles, descriptions, and keywords. This not only gave their existing content a new life but also turned it into a steady source of search visibility. At the same time, site content was rebuilt with real copy, headings, alt tags, and metadata—small but powerful changes that made the site both search-friendly and accessible.

Groundworx also connected their website and social presence so they now reinforce one another: YouTube and Facebook send audiences to the site, and the site guides visitors back to her channels, creating a loop that supports long-term growth.

Flexible layouts with extended block controls

We extended core blocks with breakpoint settings and advanced controls, so layouts adapt cleanly from mobile to desktop without extra templates. Editors get precise control over visibility, spacing, and alignment while staying inside the standard WordPress experience.

Underneath it all, the site moved from a heavy Divi setup to a lightweight, Gutenberg-based theme with custom patterns. This gave Artisan Design Concepts the freedom to log in, edit, publish, and keep the site active without relying on a developer.

Just as important as the rebuild was the strategy behind it. Groundworx worked with Staci to align her content, SEO, and social presence into a plan designed for sustainable growth. Alongside that came hands-on training—how to post blogs, write stronger titles, add alt tags, and track analytics. Each step gave her the tools and confidence to manage her marketing, making her less dependent on outside help and more equipped to grow Artisan Design Concepts on her own terms.

The Early Results and Impact

It’s still early, but the difference is already noticeable. For the first time, the site is starting to attract traffic that reflects what Artisan Design Concepts actually does. Google is beginning to surface the right keywords in search results, and instead of being buried under irrelevant city content, epoxy-related terms are showing up—bringing in more qualified visitors.

The site itself feels alive now. Staci has been able to publish new posts, convert videos into articles, and keep the content fresh. That activity is already paying off with more traffic flowing through the site, along with the first form submissions from people in her area looking for services.

Most importantly, she’s doing it herself. In just two weeks, Staci has started publishing and refining content on her own—building habits that will keep adding momentum as the foundation continues to evolve. The early signs are promising, and with the right tools and strategy in place, Artisan Design Concepts is set up to keep growing.

Working with Johanne Courtright of Groundworx has been nothing short of amazing. From the very first conversation, she made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and (dare we say) fun. She truly took the time to understand the heart of what we do—and brought it to life in a clean, modern design that beautifully showcases our work while boosting our SEO performance behind the scenes.
